    Corporal Clegg
    (Waters) 4:12

Corporal Clegg had a wooden leg
He won it in the war, in 1944.
Corporal Clegg had a medal too
    In orange, red, and blue
He found it in the zoo.
Dear, dear were they really sad for me?
Dear, dear will they really laugh at me?
Mrs. Clegg, you must be proud of him.
Mrs. Clegg, another drop of gin.
Corporal Clegg umbrella in the rain
    He's never been the same
    No one is to blame
Corporal Clegg received his medal in a dream
    From Her Majesty the queen
    His boots were very clean.
Mrs. Clegg, you must be proud of him
Mrs. Clegg, another drop of gin.

    (Who-oo-oo-oo is Mr Brown?)
Mr Brown is a clown who rides through town in a coffin
    (Where he be found?)
In the coffin where there is
Three crows on top and two is laughing
Oh, what a confusion! Ooh, yeah, yeah!
What a botheration! Ooh, now, now!

Who is Mr Brown? I wanna know now!
He is nowhere to be found
From Mandeville to Slygoville, coffin runnin' around,
    Upsetting, upsetting, upsetting the town,
    Asking for Mr Brown
From Mandeville to Slygoville, coffin runnin' around,
    Upsetting, upsetting, upsetting the town,
    Asking for Mr Brown
I wanna know who (is Mr Brown)?
Is Mr Brown controlled by remote?

its as if, like, he really knew man

There's a song by Jilted John which it would not be fair to quote at this time.

Seems to call for a spot of Bad Religion, this…

There's a loser in the house, and a puppet on the stool,
And a crowded way of life, and a black reflecting pool,
And as the people bend, the moral fabric dies,
The country can't pretend to ignore its people's cries.
    You are the government.
    You are jurisprudence.
    You are the volition.
    You are juridiction.
And I make a difference too

    Or maybe

What will prove to be our big mistake?
Short-sighted arrogance all for what sake?
Our families to ashes, our ambitions to dust
Our progeny in silence thinking "what about us?"
    But don't forget
    The dance of neglect
    The march for empowering prosperity
The pain from loss and want for mere lucidity
Just maternal residue, and I was there too
    And maybe so were you
When something is won it comes with sacrifice
It's there beneath the joy, the glory, and pride
And rarely it's acknowledged but in positive light
    Consciously omitting the losers plight
    But don't forget
    The dance of neglect
The craving for community that never was met
The longing for status and the overture of regret
With no one to deter, pathetically unsure
    Forgetting who they were

Efficiency and progress is ours once more
Now that we have the Neutron bomb
It's nice and quick and clean and gets things done
    Away with excess enemy
But no less value to property
No sense in war but perfect sense at home:

The sun beams down on a brand new day
No more welfare tax to pay
Unsightly slums gone up in flashing light
    Jobless millions whisked away
At last we have more room to play
All systems go to kill the poor tonight

    Gonna
Kill kill kill kill Kill the poor:Tonight

    Behold the sparkle of champagne
    The crime rate's gone
    Feel free again
O' life's a dream with you, Miss Lily White
Jane Fonda on the screen today
    Convinced the liberals it's okay
So let's get dressed and dance away the night

    While they:
Kill kill kill kill Kill the poor:Tonight

    i know a catchy little number called 'we're all f*cked! – unless you're a rich c*nt…'

i'm not a comunist, i can't even spell 'comunist' – but this bunch of tories really don't have a clue about anyone worth less than ten-mill'.

    we're all f*cked!
    oh we're all f*cked!
    we're all f*cked!
    unless you're a rich c*nt!

    etc.

(how many people does cameron know who deal with things like: 'do i pay my gas bill this month? or get my car through it's MOT?' – i can't do both, AND pay the rent…')

Same question goes for Gordon Brown and Nick Clegg… I'd suggest none!

I'm slightly off the breadline just at the moment since I started my new job, but have spent most of the last 18 months wondering whether to pay the rent, fix the car, or eat some food myself. I personally am glad to see the back of a Labour Government as they were doing a piss poor job IMO, fuelling the financial crisis by not taking tough enough stances to fix it and kick start the economy. I'd say the Liberals would do no better either on their own.

    Anyway…

Song for the moment… Guess this one sums up ALL MP's to be fair, singling out nobody in particular…

    Sex Pistols – Pretty Vacant

"There's no point in asking you'll get no reply
Oh just remember a don't decide
I got no reason, it's all too much
You'll always find us out to lunch

Oh we're so pretty oh so pretty
    We're Vacant
Oh we're so pretty oh so pretty
    A Vacant"

I challenge anyone to sum it up better than this…

    Well look out

    Well I’m sick
    I’m so sick
    Of a lot of people
    Tryin’ to tell me
What I can and can’t do
    With my life

    And I’m tired
    I’m so tired
    Of a lot of people
In a lot of high places
    Don’t want you and me
    To enjoy ourselves

    Well I’m through with people
Who can’t get off their arse
To help themselves change this government
    And better this society
    ‘Cos it’s shit

    But hold on a second
    I smell burning
    And I see a change
    Comin’ ‘round the bend
    And I suggest to you
    That it takes
    Just five seconds
    Just five seconds
    Of decision
    To realise
    That the time
    Is right
    To start thinkin’ about
    A little…
    Revolution!

    New Model Army; vengence

Top-dog fascist gets the boys in the corner
Plants poison where there was just confusion
    Walks away scot-free and laughing
Rides on the tide as the cancer grows
And the business man on corruption charges
With millions of dollars in dirty money
Gets a thousand pound fine after months in court
While the lawyers get fat and the law gets bought
