Utterly love the series and DVD.

    Where next? Recommendations?

In biking terms it feels like a folk ‘the Collective’ dvd 8)

Capercaillie are a great dance band, too, in fact there’s a re-mix version of one of their albums from some time ago.
I saw them play Bristol once, and there was a bloke down the front in full formal Scottish gear, kilt, fancy jacket, the works, didn’t stop dancing through the whole gig!
    Great band.

If you enjoy Capercaillie, you’re beyond help. If not, check out Planxty for some raw folk.

Been on BBC Alba if that helps.

Like Capercaillie, but thanks for your concern user-removed 😉

My mate helped organise the Innerleithen Music Festival – signed both Karen Matheson & Julie Fowlis, lucky man ::)

Ahh, thanks, I’ve been looking on BBC4 – it’s usually a few weeks after Alba, so should be soon.

Saw Planxty live in about 1970, supporting Steeleye Span at Newcastle City Hall, proper Irish folk music!
I’m partial to a bit of Cappercaillie but lately have come to really like Blazin Fiddles.
