Capercaillie are a great dance band, too, in fact there’s a re-mix version of one of their albums from some time ago.
I saw them play Bristol once, and there was a bloke down the front in full formal Scottish gear, kilt, fancy jacket, the works, didn’t stop dancing through the whole gig!
Great band.

Saw Planxty live in about 1970, supporting Steeleye Span at Newcastle City Hall, proper Irish folk music!
