    A bit off the beaten track for me, but some of you might have recommendations…

    Looking for a nice, comfy B&B for a twin and a single room for one night at the beginning of May. Must have parking for a van. A “Cyclists Welcome” place gets extra points!

    well it sits on the west highland way and there are a few but offhand i cannae mind, loch lomond hotel?

    Ah – the Oak Tree in Balmaha. I can confirm that it’s very nice (stayed there in the past), but a wee bit out of our way.

    I know someone from Drymen. I’ll ask them tomorrow if I remember. Through Garabhan Forest and up over Conic Hill is a great cycle.
