Looking forward to this myself. Have been catching up with life on mars on dvd, and it's brilliant.

Would love to hear some theories….

Am running late on this, watched episode 6 last night (I think – the prison riot) and it's getting weird. No spoilers please as I may not get chance to watch the finale till next week!

I gave up on episode two of this series after watching all the other series. It was getting a bit like the morning after a kebab – the same horrible taste kept repeating itself episode after episode.

I might watch the finale though, just out of curiosity.

I want to know what Jim is doing, what with his 'special' way with two characters this series.

Take away the 80's cars and music and you're left with a not very good cop show, not up to scratch'

It's cracking and not meant to be a cop show peejay, that's The Bill.

That's missing the whole point of the show. It's very tongue in cheek, rather OTT (Normal coppers with guns?) and has some great characters and good humour. I love it, never missed an episode. (Same as Life on Mars)

I'd sooner it were a straight Professionals in the 80s type show than have all this ooh what's going on/time travel/pseudo philosophy business going on.

And Keeley Hawes is too mardy in it.

I preferred Life on Mars but Ashes to Ashes has more or less managed to retain my attention.

Characters are a bit predictable/2-dimensional for me 😀

But that would be a different show really wouldn't it.

When you watched Aliens would you have preferred if it was about a bunch of Space Marines going home and have a lovely cup of tea?

    OK Prediction Time

I think that Sam Tyler returned to unconciousness (at the end on Life on Mars), and the Alex Drake is Sam Tyler.

Apparently, there are enough clues in the series(s) to work out what happens.

    My theory…

When cops die Gene has to lead them to the after life. He is not doing it quick enough so Jim (Death) has come to speed things up.

Ray, Chris, Alex & Shaz are all dead but don't know it.

    I could be wrong.

You mean Luigi is dead too?

    Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

I love A2A. It will sadly missed.

    Is Shaz worth one?
