Fancied getting away for the weekend on bikes and have just booked ferry from Portsmouth to Caen and then St Malo Portsmouth.
Has anyone done this route and got any tips?

There’s “Swiss Normandy” in the way – quite hilly and wooded, nice looking country. I haven’t ridden there as we used to go across to Brittany when I lived in Jersey. Enjoy!

You’ll be passing Mont St Michel if you fancy doing something touristy on Sunday. Also, make sure you allow a bit of time to have a look round the old walled town of St Malo which is V nice and full of loads of little restaurants selling Moules – good to fill up there before getting back on the boat.
