Im fit and normally healthy….have hardly ever had any time off work…..

Until 2009

– Was in hosp for an op on both calfs…off legs for 2 weeks and 2 weeks rehab.
-Had a mouth cancer scare…all clear.
-? DVT/ infection readmission following operation.
-Sore throat for 6 weeks.
-Tested positive for a gut infection and just finished a triple course of antibiotics.
-Allergic reaction to one of the a/b’s ( delayed) and had a week of looking like I’d rolled around in a field of nettles
-Rash is just going away….to be replaced by a STINKING cold!!!!

FFS give me a break ( noooo I should rephrase that the way my lucks going!)

Yup – in fact been unwell to varying degrees since around October last year. Had two infections, both fairly nasty plus had a mostly low-lying cold/flu type thing most of the time since, including now. I’m still working, and going riding tomorrow, but I wonder if I should have a proper rest to try and sort it.

A friend of mine has been. It must be depressing. Wish them all the best.

Oh forgot a chest infection as well….

I never seem to be quite right anymore. I put it down to being unfit.

It’s weird though, I am fitter than I have ever been in the past, but I don’t normally get ill very often. This winter has been the worst I can remember.
