    Slammed mine on a bit of wood today- fekked up the wires on one side. Fixed that but gubbed the other side. Both now tangled.. May have detached the big spring letting it unwind itself in the process- is it going to be a major pita to fix?
    Door closed and locked- still kinda useable thankfully!

    most springs can be reconnected , by undoing the grub screws on left hand side of spring bar that will allow u enough to refit the spring to bracket

    Aye.. Guessing it needs wound up again to re-tension it before puttingbit back on.
    Don’t have a clue bout the make but it’s all good- sure I’ll figure it out after some tea and swearing..

    Been there. Had a badly attached door fall out of the frame while trying to straighten it out, resulting in having to dismantle the cables and loosen the spring. If you straighten out the cables and re-attach them, it is actually fairly straightforward to re-tension if you know the technique.
