Any issues? Would probably be 2.8 Schwalbe/WTB tyres, on a 35mm or thereabouts rim?

I looked at this a bit back. This should answer questions.. http://www.singletracks.com/blog/mtb-gear/how-to-convert-your-29er-to-a-27-5-all-trail-bike/

A Trailblazer 2.8 on WTB Asym i35 (35mm internal) rims fits just fine (with a bit of room to spare) in a 29er Pike

I only popped the wheels in for that photo though and have put the 29er wheels back on now, so I can’t measure anything I’m afraid. But there was more room with the Pike than with the 2012 Revs on the Solaris (where these wheels live).

Nice one roverpig, that’s exactly what I needed to see. Much as I’ve love to feel the huge benefits of Boost, a more expensive fork and a new hub aren’t in the budget.

Cheers also Darren, had already read that article whilst on the Google hunt
