Yep – This year,SO FAR,have done and signed up for!
24hours of Strathpuffer – 16th Jan – as a pair
10hours – 10 Under the Ben in May – as a pair
12hour Strathpuffer Lite in June – as a solo
Get some long rides in, get some road tyres for the mtb or on a road bike.
Take plenty of energy foods, gels, bars, chocolate – keep hydrated.
Make sure the bike is in top conditions and take more spares than required….
Do worry about it – just get there and enjoy the buzz of the event!!!
Pace yourself, you have 12 hours. If you keep going, no matter how slow, you will usually make up places, you should really lose places in the latter part of of the event.
