    I was leaving the living room to go to bed and the door swung back. My foot hit it and toes 3 and 4 (the 2 next to the little toe) smacked into it. Nice crunchy sounds and they have gone purple.

    Every other time I have bust my toes I get sent home with oain killers.

    I have some good prescription pain killers left over from previous injuries.

    Do I use them or spend 5 hours in A&E?

    9 months since my last breakage is a record.

    Anyway, it feel like only 1 of the toes is properly broken so that’s a result.

    Can you wiggle them and that? What if someone prods them with a stick?
    Obviously you’re experienced enough to know if they’re broken, are they?

    Take the pain killers anyway, wait till tomorrow. A&E will be full on a Friday night with people who swear and shout and therefore get treated first. Go tomorrow morning if you can’t walk.

    They don’t do anything for broken toes anyway.

    If they are bad, splint them yourself (half a lolly stick works well) and some surgical tape (duct tape works too). Then RICE.

    Morning update . Ow

    It is just the middle toe that is a tally broken
    It is on my right foot (the ankle one)
    The pain killers have worn off
    I forgot I had done it as I leaped from my bed.
    I remembered as I landed on my feet and whimpered (in a manlet manner)

    A minor injuries can deal with broken, toes off you hop.

    It is reasonably straight so not bothering with the quacks. Dihydrocodiene is fine for now.

    Sunny day, might head over the Southampton Bike Park later, apparently someone managed a back flip on the jump box. I might start off with rolling down the trainer line
