Zen Internet - Good - Bad - or Ugly?

Whilst we've been a long term customer of Plusnet, they've had another DNS failure today and their customer service / service status hasn't been quite up to scratch. Looking for a way more reliable ISP - has anyone got any recommendations ? Zen used to be one of the go-to companies for transparency and reliability - but thought I'd ask a load of middle age IT folk for an opinion. Looking to port the house phone number across to any new provider (Plusnet weren't offering this - I can't tell if they do at the moment as their website uses their own DNS....) ta muchly

@borosilicate Maybe find out who is good on thrust boring locally and ask if they can fit you a duct to the highway.

My FTTP has just dropped from a consistent 170-180 to a feeble 80-90.

Time to test the Zen CS.
