I'm 3/4 of my way through a reread of **ZAMM, I rushed it first time, because I was frustrated that it wasn't what I wanted it to be. But it seems to have got lodged in my head firmly enough for me to pull it out again a few years later.
It's the most intriguing book, but there's noone I know to talk to it about f2f.
What do you think?

* the mechanics bit
* the bike, the weather, the road
* the switch to the high mountain walk
* the psycho-horror (I find it quite chilling) of Phaedrus raising his head, my edition even has a change of font for his voice and I sort of sneak-peak ahead to see it coming up
* the Bozeman/Quality section (I find that bit quite tough but am through it now)
There's a lot going on there. Clever.

Do you have the 25th anniversary issue. It has an extra bit added by the author.

I've read it, I just didn't find it very interesting or memorable tbh... Shims from the private stock of Baron Alfred Krupp aside.
