It is the most wonderfully bizarre syllogism I have yet encountered from the mouth of a politician.

The best is his syntax.
The guy should go far in the Republican/Tea Party movement, he's clearly a natural.
What a guy. Check this out if you want to learn about "terror babies". Amazeballs, and I don't say that light-heartedly.

LOOK AT THE GAPING HOLE!
I am blown away by that. How do you become a congressman? Was this guy voted in to his position? It's not like he's screwed up but clever. he's screwed up and a f*****g idiot.
I'm guessing most people didn't get as far as the last line, but he says this like it's a bad thing: "it's the same once you start putting limits on what guns can be used, then it's just really easy to have laws that make them all illegal."
I doubt that he's an idiot, I'm sure that his comments were designed purely to endear him to his target audience at the Tea Party conference, and weren't suppose to be for general public consumption. And he would have got away with it had a liberal watchdog not dug it up a couple of months later. So probably more unlucky than stupid.
So probably more unlucky than stupid.
Same thing in modern politics, isn't it?
****wits like this get into office on the strength of a few choice soundbites targetting the electorate, sooner or later it has to 'backfire'
😯 🙄 😆
