You dislocate your thumb putting a headset in....

Just took a break from working (WFH today) and decided to start on my build.
Thought headset would be nice and easy - until my hand slipped on the press and my thumb came out.
F***in' brilliant, was up A&E yesterday as lad had fractured his wrist.
Guess where I'm off to now!!

Ooof! I bet that smarts!!

I was gonna finally get round to swapping the Reba's on my Inbred, for the Exotic Carbons I bought
about a month ago, but you've dented my enthusiasm a bit!

Well no riding for a couple of weeks at least.

Gone back in ok but might have tendon damage - back to see the hand specialist on Monday once all swelling gone down.

from the look of the picture his hand has come out the front of the chicken.

Im pleased I read this after I did an hour in the garage and not before.

Hope all goes well at the specialist.

Just took a break from working (WFH today) – until my hand slipped on the press and my thumb came out.

How the hell do you explain that to the boss, "yes I was working from home, no not having a day's unofficial holiday and just doing occasional emails to look like work, actually at my computer working, yes I dislocated my thumb whilst at my computer working. Yes I said working"

I dislocated both mine helping with the lambing as a kid, pulled them back in myself. 😕

Probably wasn't wise as over 30 years later they still pop out if I apply too much pressure but makes them easy to put back in. 😁

Even WFH I'm entitled to a lunch hour, I was slightly vague though with how it happened.

Well, I managed to fit my carbon fork without even a scratch, although this post did prey on my mind once or twice...!

Hope the thumb heals well!
