get this message when I try to reply to any message on here.
I need to communicate with someone i'm selling something to on the classified.
Now they might think I'm a scammer....
I tried deleting some conversations, it doesn't fix it.
I believe it's because there's a limit on the number of messages you can send as a free member of the website.
We're discussing this internally, bear with us.
@wzzzz can you give me an idea of how often you use PMs please? Just to help cross-reference what we think might be happening. Ta.

Very very rarely.
Except when I'm selling things and then theres always some back and forth.
So there has been a lot over the last few days as I'm clearing out before house move.
A warning would be good.

The simplified answer is that you're allowed 20 messages in a 24 hour period. It's a little more complicated than that and a bit weird, but it's third party code so STW is taking this up with the plugin supplier to come up with a better solution.
You should be able to send again now, if you want to retry it.

Any news on this as I’ve just hit my limit?
I use the message system as initial contact, if things start to progress in to a purchase/sale I take it to emails.
The message system can be a bit clunky for me at times.
I’ve reached my limit now apparently. Any news on changing this? Thanks
