[#13536248]

I’ve not been to Yearsley for about 3 years but the imminent arrival of my first ebike has got me making plans for a visit. I’ve just got the latest Trailforks app and it says on there that there are no e-bikes allowed. Any locals know if this is so? Tia.

Dunno but it's somewhere I've been thinking about visiting so I'll keep an eye on this...

ebikes are fine - all bikes are. Just to point out that a) theres been a load of felling this year so some of the trails have gone I think and b) the forest owners (FC?) have been ripping out anything resembling a trail feature so jumps/drops/berms have been removed from many trails.

Thanks, I’ve seen on YouTube that they’ve been felling trees and I’m firmly wheels on the ground although I do seem to remember the last time I went getting a some air time which is very unusual for me!

Lots of bracken this time of year also.

There are better places to ride, IMHO.

Aye, Kilburn or Dalby off-piste. Yearsley is Stainburn but in North Yorkshire. Very mid.

Not sure, Strava heat map is your friend however it's tricky to navigate (if you don't know it then you can end up doing big long fire road schleps)

Drop me a pm and I'll send a route your way
