So a set of indoor/outdoor LED lights have stopped working. I've verified that the power supply is working which leaves the flasher control unit as the main suspect.
Can I simply bypass this control unit? It's got 2 wires going into it and three coming out - which I presume are two positives (for two strings of LEDs twisted together) and one negative.
So can I connect the live that was going into the unit directly to the two wires that have the LEDs on, and the [presumably] negative onto the third wire to put the lights on constantly?
Or have I got this completely wrong?

Haha... fixed. turned out to be a dodgy piece of cable running from the power supply to the flasher control unit 🙂
