Around Piccadilly station this morning, groups of young men in WW1 battledress hanging around waiting for something to start. Very moving actually.

Sort of puts me in mind of pitting country against country and tearing Europe apart.

Looking at the news it appears to have been a nationwide thing. I don't know who came up with the idea but full marks. To coin an STW phrase "it got a bit dusty".
