I've been invited to Minsk for a christening in august.
Given the fact that it's between Russia and Ukraine would you go?

YES! Last dictatorship in Europe, im sure it would be fascinating.
But check the visa requirements and flight costs, im not sure its so easy to organise.

That is a little known fact...as a result a days jet ski hire costs less than Tesco wants for a potato. I would be all over that.

Go. I would be going to Ukraine myself, except that our passports did not come through in time. That, and we ran out of money.

Those in the Kremlin are bastards, but East Slavic hospitality can hardly be beat.

Oh, and bring back a bottle or two of ???????.

Tesco have opened up there? Teski?

I don't think Tesco is in Belarus but they're massive in Poland, which is immediately to the west.
