Recieved a letter from the Insolvency Service branch of the DTI the other week telling me i had apparently been awarded something called a 'Protective Award' against my old employer who went spectacularly bust a year ago. I'd already been awarded redundancy pay & wages in lieu by the DTI last September so was surprised to recieve this letter.
Anyway, filled in the form & sent it off, letter arrived this week with a cheque for £1943.62 🙂 which is coincidentally the same amount as i've already spent on bikes this year!
Thing is, does anyone know what a 'protective award' is??????
