[#470485]

I'm off to see surgeon about my hip operation and hopefully find out if there's any hope for cycling again sometime in the future.... Currently shitting myself to be honest.

Hope it goes well for you!

Fell down the stairs answering the doorbell-dam CRC late delivery.

I feel your pain-no its my ass. Sorry just trying to make you cheer up.

You'll be back even if its a gentle pace.

Just make sure your surgeon knows you want to ride again!

Best wishes! :O)

Eddie Van Halen had a hip replacement. All the cool kids wanted one after that. Never seen him on a bike tho. (again going for a small smile)

Hopefully the fact that you are (presumably) a fit active biking type should put you in the category most likely to make a full recovery?

All the best and let us know how it's going

clearly, if you are shitting yourself, then surgical intervention can only be a good thing.

igmc...

Would you believe they put the wrong date on the card they sent me. Gotto go back tomorrow!!! More shitting myself tonight!!! Already had surgery for FAI click here to find out what it is . But he was far from calling it a sucess after.... took twice as long as planned due to all the cartilage damage. Hip replacements and re surfacing is not a good idea if your under 40.
