[#470578]

that is:

modern
not a big chain
a bit different
not stupid money
not full of stag/hen
takes a 1 night booking

doesn't need to be that central

Is there such a thing?

thanks!

I've never had an issue with the Granville or http://www.britanniahotels.com/hotel_home.asp?page=139

(rooms can be had for cheap in the RA as well).

Ps. I once booked into a Gay B&B. The Penny started to drop when the Proprietor opened the door with a big grin (which vanished smartly) when he saw my GF walk up the path behind me. Google afterwards and hey presto! 😆

seatle hotel at the marina is nice.
a friend of mine just got a deal at hotel du vin that included breakfast and evening meal. so worth an ask.

Second the Pelirocco. Possibly depends who you're with.

NO offence to anyone but that looks like a mid-life crisis

UMI on the seafront is alright. Dead central too, which is nice. http://umihotelbrighton.co.uk/

hotel du vin is nice and got offers on at the moment. small chain - modern, nice staff, on the seafront.

lansdowne OK, but pricey.

seattle - rooms quite boxy but all individually decorated. in the marina so a 30 minute walk into town.

lots of boutiquey style hotels in town - for max quirkiness try the pelirocco:

ifyou're up for a dirty wekeend this could be the winner!
