Hi all.
We're about to change broadband package and Orange are sending us a new router. We have a desktop pc upstairs without a wireless card in it, so it'll need a wireless adapter in the USB to connect to the Internet. Do I need to buy a specific adapter or will any one work with the new router?

they'll all work but get the one that's the same speed as the router - wi-fi traffic to all devices is throttled back to the slowest device conntected, I believe.

What did you do with the old router, then?
get the one that's the same speed as the router
... or faster. Though TBH, pretty much everything is Wireless-N these days.
