Thinking of going to the Canary Islands over New Year, I've been to Gran Canaria in the summer before and quite liked it, just wondered what it would be like over the New Year?
Obviously quieter than the summer but how quiet would it get?
Would it be worth looking at Tenerife instead as it seems to be a bit cheaper at times

Always thought Christmas was peak season for the Canaries. The places we have rented out over there are more expensive Nov - May than June - Oct
