We will be in touch
Hi all, my wife recently came into a small inheritance and we thought it would be a nice idea to take our two daughters (ages 10 and 12) away for a pre Christmas holiday, we were thinking some sort of a "once in a lifetime" sort of experience to go and stay in a log cabin in the snow to see the Northern lights, or something along those lines, not skiing! Anyhow, due to work/school holidays we're only going to have 4-5 days to get this in, so Northern Europe is going to be our best bet to minimise time lost traveling, however we're finding it hard to find anything that fits the bill.
So over to the good well travelled people of STW, do you have any recommendations, with links if possible?
Thanks 😀
I'd look at renting a spot in Lapland: reindeer, Northern Lights (if you're lucky), sledging and other fun snow activities, lovely people.
Mate of mine went to Iceland last xmas, really rated it. Ski-do tours on glaciers, northern lights etc.
