A great spot. Get drunk and go and play in the quarry.
Beast yourself up the pass, gorge yourself on pizza at the Galt Y Gwyn and go exploring in the woods. Slate museum, Magic Mountain.
Dinorwic Lodge for coffee and cake - ride up to it via the Fachwen if you like a challenge.
Can be a trifle moist though.
