As the ice/snow/rain fest is about to start again i Quite fancy a rowing machine but not spending too much. What's good? Second hand concept 2, what about those water rowers?

Second hand concept 2

Anything else is just a toy.

concept 2 are very good and just about indestructible - what all the elite rowing squads use.

water rowers are much nicer to look at and actually give a much more realistic 'feel' compared to actual rowing.

If you just want to bosh up and down an get fit concept 2 the way to go BUT they make turbo trainers seem interesting (used to spend three hours a week on one...)

concept 2's are absolute beasts,it's not possible to go for a gentle row - it's flat out, total agony, feeling sick and seeing stars when you come off it.it's not an exercise machine - it's an instrument of torture.it hurts too much to be boring 😆
i hate getting on mine but feel great once i'm off it.buy a used one and you won't lose money if you decide to sell it
