My washer pump packed in so had to replace it, but now it's dripping where the pump goes into the bottle. Pump just has a grommet over the inlet and that all pushes into the washer bottle.
I've tried with the new grommet and the old grommet but still drips!
Anyone got any advice on how to fix, might try lots of PTFE tape next to try and make the inlet on the pump a bit fatter so it squashes the grommet thing more.
epoxy ?
PTFE might be worth a try (as you suggest) or a decent think elastic band?
PTFE, and maybe the small rubber gromit has been pinched and buckled a bit.
Is it a genuine pump & grommet? If not there’s a good chance a genuine one won’t leak.
smear/splodge of silicone sealant after a good clean
Boss white will sort it, just don't drink out of it after.
Thanks I'll try PTFE and boss white as got some of that somewhere. If that fails ill get a genuine pump and grommet!

Self-amalgamating tape might be better than PTFE.... More thickness
Put the grommet in the washer bottle first then put the pump in the grommet
And as said earlier is pump and grommet genuine? If universal/after market might need to bodge it
