Alex Salmond with the Saltire behind David Cameron - that's the moment of the year. 😀

I wish he would sort out a better second serve though - he was asking for it every time he served one.

Would the stats be worse if he just fired down another first serve instead of a 'safe' second?

Outstanding physical conditional.

Simon Peggs tweet was brilliant!

Dear BBC please stop ruining this by cutting to Davis Cameron's pink, opportunistic, tabloid-hungry face!

Awesome result. Really pleased for him.

It shouldn't go unmentioned - the effect Ivan Lendl has had on Murray - whatever he's doing with him mentally, it's right.

It has been an amazing change in the belief in himself - Lendl has made a huge difference.

Great result

Lendl ,never won Wimbledon himself so coaching Murray to the title must be pleasing.

Not a massive tennis fan as such but am a sports fan in general. That was a magnificent result. A fantastic show of mental and physical strength. Very pleased for him, he has worked incredibly hard and deserves everything he gets.
