The watch place in town didn't want to do it, H Samuel said it would be between £25 and £45 and they'd only know once they had sent it away!

A number of other high street jewelers said they didn't do them...

I decided to tackle the job myself and took a 99p LED torch apart to get one of its 2016 button batteries.

Took my G-Shock apart, popped the battery in and closed it all back up again taking care of the shaped sealing ring

Reckon it will be OK for a bath / swim?

Should have put some vaseline on the sealing ring, just in case

I have changed mine a few times with no problems, just a money making exercise IMHO
