There's a quirky one where he falls in love with a woman who runs a bakery which is brilliant
He steals the show in the Wedding Crashers, still a bit hit and miss though.
I like Will Ferrell, but really really struggled with Step Brothers

He's hilarious. Anchorman is one of all time faves. And he did indeed steel the show in The Wedding Crashers. 'Maaaa, the meatloaf'

He was great in the us version of the office. Played the temp boss for a couple of episodes
very hit & miss, but he's great when on form
not had a mention for The Other Guys which I thought was excellent, also gives a great performance in Megamind (animated so voice only)
Old School is probably my all time favourite.
But agreed if he's in it, it's worth a watch.
