Need some help with getting my PC to connect to the internet via a BT home hub on Wifi as I have some puzzling issues.

At the moment the hub is set up and all mobile devices can connect to it and the internet with no issues however when I try to connect the PC to it, the PC can see and connect to the hub but it says that there is no internet.  I also have a 4G wireless router (courtesy of BT) that the PC can connect to and get access to the internet.  In short the Hub seems to be working fine, the PC seems to be working fine but they won't play well together.  Anyone got any bright ideas?

Hmm sounds odd, I'd usually say DNS or Default Gateway setting but not sure either fits with the whole scenario you describe. There's no policy that's been set on the Hub that blocks Internet access for the MAC address of your PC?

open a command prompt and type

ipconfig /all

Well apparently the answer is "plug the router into a different phone socket".  I know it shouldn't have worked and there's probably something else going on but there we go.

Makes no sense, but if it works great, move on.
