Steam failed to load - steam start engine failed with error 1...
Steam support may be a more suitable place to ask or on their forums.
Since i reinstalled my computer on a new drive, Steam have failed big time. started out with games just failing to start or crashing.
Had just begun to like having my games through steam, and now im regretting not having a disc to install the game from again.
Macintosh HD > Users > YOU > Library > Application Support > Steam
delete the file called ClientRegistry.blob

That'll learn you for not backing them up 😉
Seriously, though; i have a dedicated drive for Steam (and another for data) so if my OS drive fails, my Steam and Data drives should be isolated.
