La Vuelta a España means either the return to Spain or the tour at Spain in my book. Why isn't it DE España meaning of Spain?

IIRC it’s a French race in Yorkshire, run by ASO?

Surely it should be Tour ‘Yorkshire, if it’s always in the native tongue?

Dar la vuelta al mundo = go around the world

La Tierra da una vuelta al sol.

Etc..

And, the preposition a/al goes with vuelta, so it’s Vuelta a Gran Bretaña, vuelta al País Vasco, but Giro de Italia, Tour de Francia, Tour de Yorkshire
...
