It's really hard to look for stuff! It wouldn't take much effort to add a few sub categories...
Because the consensus is that it's crap. It's been discussed many times and that's always the conclusion.
Chat, too, could do with splitting into rants and pants.

It's weird, isn't it, when everything else is sub-divided so granularly.

The search function is awful though. I google everything with singletrack added at the end.

Why won't the stw mods come around and mow my grass? It wouldn't take much effort.
There are only 4 different forums (Bike, Chat, For Sale, Wanted) and people constantly choose the wrong one! 😡
Even more categories would just make it much more worser! 😥
The search isn't fantastic, and it would only take a few key categories to make it way easier to browse. Some people post their ads multiple times to try and make them more visible.
There could still be a default view of 'everything'
How about : bikes full sus, bikes hard tail, frames, forks, etc etc...
It's might have been discussed before, but so has everything else!

I found finding anything in the classified difficult... until I started using the search bar.
Then I was still not satisfied, so I started using pinkbike instead.

Singletrack is so busy because it doesn't have categories. It's a live evolving thing.
Lack of categories works really well in the discussion / chat areas, keeps it lively.
I used to enjoy the coffee section of the forum 😉
There were several categories in the For Sale forum not so long ago.
Somebody must've bought them.
