Is it posh pulpy OJ though, 'cause that's the best

hmmmm... no, it's budget orange and mango, well past it's best, with flat prosecco.. liberated from an event earlier today..

classy.. 8)

I'm very jealous of your guilty rollie.. 😐

Every time I say "that's it" a pack of Virginia Smooth ends up in the basket with the scratchcard. Just for one at the weekend.

I reckon the law banning it from P.O.S will do me favours...or make it even more of a guilty pleasure.

I like a life of moderation now after "the student" narcissistic years of 20 Marlboro Red and many vodkas-a-day.

Am only bloody 25. Going on 40. Innit.

Proper cheese, savoury biscuits, home-made brew?

It's all gone River Cottage since some people drank themselves to sleep.

Wonder how stumpyjon and his Cloudy Bay's getting on.

If one is slightly tipsy, do not go for a pootle round the garden...

Wuaey.

have some kids cfinnimore.. it will greatly improve your motivation to stay off the fags.. and will help you to fall asleep at the screen, halfway through a dodgy Bucks Fizz, possibly preventing the tipsy pootle..

'Tis alrite yunki , sister keeps giving me nieces and nephews, every time another one shows up I think it adds 5 years to my brood-o-meter. Oh the commitment!

Mrs.C on the other hand...

"5 years 'til 30" she says "yup". . .
*hides the turkey baster*

I think she plans on waking up on the morning of her 30th birthday, legs in stirrups and a sign saying "let's go, big boy".

Beer o' clock?

Had a lovely pint of "Deuce" at lunchtime after an interesting mornings riding alongside (and occasionally in) the Erewash Canal and River Trent.

Nearly a disaster at the bar when she thought I'd ordered a pint of "Juice" 😳

Slight hijack ...

Bought a bottle of Co-op Czec premium lager yesterday to try it out and I must say it tastes very nice unlike the majority of the chemical water you find nowadays. It's brewed and bottled in Czec republic for Co-op.

Matt, Loch Fyne ales, all of them, are marvellous. Along with Inveralmond and pretty much anything from Orkney, I very rarely stray South of the border.

All Aled out for the weekend I think. Perchance a nice Oatmeal Stout (Black Isle) to round the day off nicely?

I think next week shall be IPA week.

I like saying "glass or two".
In house measure terms It's quite ambiguous.

Two glasses = 80% of the bottle... Glugglugglugglugglug...
Oh well, can't put it back in the bottle now :-).

Anyone recommend an ale with Heather in it rather than Fraoch?

yamyamblade

Leffe or otherwise?

Tell you what, house measures can send Nicola Sturgeon right to buggery, minimum priced units indeed.

£5 in this glass. Cow.
