My wife suggested I get my mother in law a bottle of whiskey for Christmas. Irish whiskey in fact. She is Irish and Jameson is devoured by us at Christmas. However, other than Jameson I have no idea what’s out there that’s decent but not expensive? Any deals noted by anyone?

Redbreast all good. Some deals on Amazon and elsewhere. Even a bit xmassy.
Also Powers
Jameson Black Barrel if you just want a step up.

Thanks for those. I may even pick one up from me if I see a deal.

Another shout for Teeling. I was given a selection of miniatures for my birthday a few months ago, all very nice 🙂

Anyone tried the Jameson’s in IPA barrels? I like Jameson’s and I like IPA so in theory it should be a win win situation!

I had a couple of bottles of Glendolagh earlier this year, as Redbreast had gotten hard to find/bloody expensive. They were good.
