We have our own sides regardless of what bed we are in. Actually that should read I have my own side as the wife will always end up on my side anyway. She’s a bloody nightmare to share a bed with.
I sleep on the right as that is where we keep the penis beaker

Always on the right where ever we are, even camping! Just feels wrong otherwise.
At home we each have a bedside cabinet with our own stuff in/on it so makes sense there at least.
I pick the the largest area left after she has got herself comfortable. Sometimes its an edge and sometimes i have to curl up in the corner.

But, of course, I do occasionally sleep with barbed wire wrapped around my whole body. That’s nothing unusual is it?
Im on the right furthest from the door but the Mrs wanted to swap sides because if the kids ever need anything in the middle of the night or really early morning they always wake her. So we swapped sides and they just walked around the bed to her new side 🙂

Many years ago I spent most nights in a tent for 6 months with a mate one night we swapped sides. After an hour we had to swap back to the normal sides as we couldnt sleep!!

Always closest to the door, in case of intruders apparently.
I prefer to sleep on the most northerly or westerly side. My missus prefers the left hand side. this causes confusion in hotels when I try to steal "her" side.
However as a somewhat "active" sleeper I can end up almost anywhere hence we have a 7ft wide bed with two double duvets! I have been known to end up across the bed, with my head at the foot end and one particularly fine night I ended up inside the duvet cover!

On the left (looking down the bed). Or in real terms nearest the door lest Baddies come in the night and I have to fend them off. That said She would never take over my side, if we move house and the bedroom doesn't allow for my side of the bed to be nearest the door, it'll be new bed time.

I have an old man's bladder so I usually sleep on the side that's closest to the bog to avoid trying to navigate around more than is absolutely necessary at 2am. And 3.30. And 5...
All over it. We don't share beds. She definitely doesn't snore and I definitely don't smell like ass.

Like bruneep, but the very very right of the bed, and usually on my right hand side. I do have a stack of sodding pillows like an old woman these days - ever since breaking my back.

On the left, and I pretty much always sleep on my left side. Just replaced the old double duvet for a king-sized, which has reduced the tendency for me to be left with the very edge of it; oddly I always get accused of hogging the duvet that herself has wrapped herself in!
I only have one pillow, while herself has two, ‘cos she often sleeps on her stomach cuddling the thicker top pillow.
I honestly don’t understand how she can sleep like that!
