[#3423988]

There are loads of good folk on here, with pearly words of wisdom, funny, interesting backgrounds etc. So, your shortlist of the 3 you'd most want to meet in 'real life':

I'll kick off with:

Bullheart - he's got a "shusky" dog, nothing to do with that boring cancer malarky

Emsz - cos she makes me laugh!

TJ - to see if he can out-talk me ๐Ÿ™‚

Over to you - your top 3?

(and keep it nice, no 'who you'd least like to meet', this is a positive vibe thread ๐Ÿ™‚ )

I'd like to meet Yunki. He comes across as someone who might have a lot of interesting things to say, but doesn't shout about it.

mrnutt - regularly makes really humorous posts (we don't see enough of him).
davidtaylforth - the best troll on the forum - probably because he doesn't post too often. He does seem to be able to pick the right pressure point though.
sanny - just to hear him describe some of his rides.

None, I can think of a few I'd avoid like the plague though...

Tbh I don't really register who posts what so I couldn't really say whose posts I enjoy, if any..

I think the chap with the spiders would be interesting to talk to for an hour or so, I am always pleased to see when he posts more pics and info.

Hmmm, Ernie for one. Seems like an incredibly politically aware chap and has a very dry sense of humour.

TJ - just to see if he really is like his internet persona! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Same for elfinfreddedbra....

Apart from that, any cycling ladies who frequent the forum who aren't put off by dwarves....

Probably Stoner as he talks sense and seems to have a sound, reality based world view.

Others- TJ, Elfin and Ernie plus a stopwatch. 'Cause if their on-line personas are anything like reality I'd like to know how long I could stay in the same room with them- and vice versa.

Met (or know) a lot of the usual suspects, can tell you most that I have met are even bigger personalities in person than online... Yes Elf, I'm including you in that... ๐Ÿ˜‰

Of the many I've still not met though, think GW intrigues me the most. Mainly cos I've heard by people I know who have met him, his riding is even bigger than his ego! A pretty rare thing for STW indeed, but if it's true, he must be almost as quick as Steve Peat!

Deadlydarcey, mainly cos of his sharp wit. Don't always agree with why he has to say, but he's sharp which makes him interesting...

Loddrik and hughjayteens cos they have good taste (own Mavericks too) and I'm pretty sure I know everyone else on here who regularly rides a Mav (not many of us!).

TJ, because although pretty much everything he says I disagree with, I'm sure I've been told that he's a gem of a guy in real life

Just to show off, i've met TJ, Jedi (even elf) and they are bigger personalities in real life. I'd like to ride with anyone on here really just to pedal around new places

Met a few people off here and haven't had a bad experience yet. I'll get along with pretty well anyone who isn't an egotistical c**k.

Looking forward to riding with some of the "visible" forumites who ride in Scotland like TJ, druidh, 13FM etc

I already know a lot of the Scottish contingent. I'd like to meet Tsy, Elf, Deadlydarcy, Ton, mboy, Sanny and cinnamongirl. Lots of others who don't spring to mind. I guess I just like meeting and riding with new people ๐Ÿ™‚

I dont have a to do list - tbh having met some of the northern based characters some of the more extreme characters are as dull as can be in real life.....when they have to be themselves.

CFH: Seems like a nice guy, and we can chat about Salcombe
Yunki: Already met him, but a really lovely guy that can put stuff into perspective. His other half makes awesome cakes too.
Elfin: Seems funny, and he can tell me all about that there London.
