For some reason the wife wants to replace our six-year-old Windows machine.
I use Mac at work, but can't justify the price (I'm also a student).
So, if yo have $600+/- to drop on a Windows machine, what would you look for?
Basically, it's used for running Word, very simple games (my kid is 7 and he's a few years away from Modern Warfare 2) and, of course, reading Gooch's posts and watching LeeLau's cool videos.
Any particlular processor, quad core or duo, DDR2 or DDR3 and how much hard drive?
Check out the Medion at Aldi. Great value for money.
