Heaven help me for asking, but M&S just don't do it for me anymore. Looking for trunks, microfibre type if possible. Not mouth-watering prices (but if they look mouth-watering, that's fine 🙂 )

If M&S is too trendy for you now then I'm afraid it's time for Greenwoods.

TKMaxx - They do some really nice Toyota Underground pants in some good (different colours like pink, blue, baby blue etc). Think they are 7.99 for 3.

100% cotton and look nice.

In my neck of the woods they're a janitorial supplier.

^ 'bamboo' is just viscose/rayon with a higher price tag and a swing ticket made of recycled cardboard. If 'bamboo' is what you fancy then viscose pants can be bought really, really cheaply - @ £2 a pop

Are you spying on me?*

I am literally just buying some now. For the record, I go to Next, as M&S have been rubbish a while now.

sort of like hot desking? - at least they're still warm

"its obvious who wears the pants in your household"
"why?"
"because you've got a rota pinned to the fridge"

for a serious answer - 4 packs of pringle boxers from Costco, about the same price as 3 packs from TK MAxx

Tbh, they're my preference at the weekend bn, but for work, they do chafe a bit as I've only ever bought lacy ones. Would you recommend the Bridget Jones type?

This +1. Get the Primark ones, job done. A superb bit of undercarriage upholstery and well able to expand according to demand...

The Pringle socks are highly recommended as well..

Uniqlo - boxers are cut well (for the bigger boy) and they also do the wicky tighter versions if that is your thing (called AIR or something like that.) cross between a Nike pro and a normal boxer which is nice in hot countries

I only ever wear the micro-fresh M&S socks. Never ever had stinking feet when riding or in trainers with these socks. Well worth buying if you like keeping your mrs's happy.

Well, thanks for the tip, I've taken a punt on half a dozen from there and ordered a pair of jeans while I was at it. If I don't like them, I'll be sending a used pair to you in a sealed bag. 😀

It was only after starting to see the new missus that I discovered that she has no sense of smell (which may explain why she agreed to start seeing me in the first place 8) ). The fringe benefits of this are enormous, including happily farting away whenever I feel like it with no comebacks.. 😀

Should have said that they come up a little small!! Did you go for the boxers or the the wicky ones?

Hope they work. I've only been converted in last 12 months after passing their store in London. The air (?) v-neck Ts are also great under a work shirt in hot places.

Most of mine are CKs but I get annoyed about the huge amount of different fits which always seem to be changing. Best ones I've had by a long way are CK microfibre ones but have only seen them in the US where at least they are not so stupidly expensive.

This is the kind of nonsense folk with Creative Zen MP3 players used to say about iPods.

I don't own an mp3 player, but if I did I certainly wouldn't choose one that forced me to use the absolute shower that is itunes when every other mp3 player I have used can have files dragged and dropped from any device.
On those grounds I will have to formally dismiss your opinion on undergarments.
