Heaven help me for asking, but M&S just don't do it for me anymore. Looking for trunks, microfibre type if possible. Not mouth-watering prices (but if they look mouth-watering, that's fine 🙂 )
Have the strangest. . . .
Ann Summers?
Have the strangest. . . .
Didn't take long... 😛
If M&S is too trendy for you now then I'm afraid it's time for Greenwoods.
Greenwoods
I have no idea what Greenwoods is. Seems like you do though...maybe you could enlighten me.
Last time I went for the cheapest pack of 6 I could find on google shopping. Next time I'll go for the second cheapest.
Seems like you do though...maybe you could enlighten me.
It's a shop for old men's pants you know the sort, the ones that don't like M&S anymore. I don't think the sell Calvin Klein so I've never been in.
you know the sort
I don't, no. Seems like you do though...maybe you could enlighten me...again.
TKMaxx - They do some really nice Toyota Underground pants in some good (different colours like pink, blue, baby blue etc). Think they are 7.99 for 3.
100% cotton and look nice.
You soon will you just have to admit it's time.
Debenhams usually have a huge range to suit all tastes and levels of wealth.
Pants? Oh how the other half with their heated windscreens live.
you just have to admit it's time
I have no intention. Seems like you have though. 🙁
I have no idea what Greenwoods is.
In my neck of the woods they're a janitorial supplier.

Primark for me because I seem to shit myself twice a week when riding the MX bikes so can't afford any nice ones.
BAM.. bamboo pants FTW
Seeing as I don't work in high finance, I only wear second hand these days.
^ 'bamboo' is just viscose/rayon with a higher price tag and a swing ticket made of recycled cardboard. If 'bamboo' is what you fancy then viscose pants can be bought really, really cheaply - @ £2 a pop
Are you spying on me?*
I am literally just buying some now. For the record, I go to Next, as M&S have been rubbish a while now.
*rhetorical question - *waves at the camera*
I only wear second hand these days.
sort of like hot desking? - at least they're still warm
"its obvious who wears the pants in your household"
"why?"
"because you've got a rota pinned to the fridge"
for a serious answer - 4 packs of pringle boxers from Costco, about the same price as 3 packs from TK MAxx
Seems like you have though.
I'm 41 I've got a few years yet of trying it to be trendy.
I recently got some from Sainbury's and was very surprised. Trunk type boxers with a fly and 'stay fresh' stuff, so comfy i went back and bought some more the next week.
Real men wear knickers.
Real men wear knickers.
Tbh, they're my preference at the weekend bn, but for work, they do chafe a bit as I've only ever bought lacy ones. Would you recommend the Bridget Jones type?
sports direct
Pringle from TK Maxx.
Superior to CK in every way.

This +1. Get the Primark ones, job done. A superb bit of undercarriage upholstery and well able to expand according to demand...
The Pringle socks are highly recommended as well..
Rapha, Rapha make some nice trunk/boxers in merino, mixed colourways too..
Weeeeelll, soooomeone had to mention them didn't they 🙄
Uniqlo - boxers are cut well (for the bigger boy) and they also do the wicky tighter versions if that is your thing (called AIR or something like that.) cross between a Nike pro and a normal boxer which is nice in hot countries
for the bigger boy
Fortunately, not a problem for me.
nice in hot countries
I'm heading into a three or four month period where this area will be a hot country. 🙂
The follow-on jokes are too obvious DD!!!
Good luck with the search. But can rec UNIQLO on price and comfort.

+1 especially the bamboo ones.

I only ever wear the micro-fresh M&S socks. Never ever had stinking feet when riding or in trainers with these socks. Well worth buying if you like keeping your mrs's happy.
Next have what you are looking for.
Comfy, dull, functional like MandS
I like Jeep pants/briefs get them from TK Maxx, there's a skid mark joke in there somewhere but my mind's been wiped clean... 😕

Well, thanks for the tip, I've taken a punt on half a dozen from there and ordered a pair of jeans while I was at it. If I don't like them, I'll be sending a used pair to you in a sealed bag. 😀

This is the kind of nonsense folk with Creative Zen MP3 players used to say about iPods.

It was only after starting to see the new missus that I discovered that she has no sense of smell (which may explain why she agreed to start seeing me in the first place 8) ). The fringe benefits of this are enormous, including happily farting away whenever I feel like it with no comebacks.. 😀

Going commando on Sundays, then?
Should have said that they come up a little small!! Did you go for the boxers or the the wicky ones?
Hope they work. I've only been converted in last 12 months after passing their store in London. The air (?) v-neck Ts are also great under a work shirt in hot places.
Next, generally: http://www.next.co.uk/shop/gender-men-productaffiliation-underwear-0#2_2200
A Fronts.
But, TK Maxx are good for details on 'premium' brands.
Make sure they're not too tight or you might be run out of town by Will Farrel!

Never break my promises Jimmers...not even to you.
'Potters' is a gorgeous old fashioned family run department store in Buxton (where they still write out the receipts by hand). I have been know to purchase nbt's undies from here.
Could you get him some different ones Bunnyhop? I didn't like the last few pairs he's been wearing. 🙂
Most of mine are CKs but I get annoyed about the huge amount of different fits which always seem to be changing. Best ones I've had by a long way are CK microfibre ones but have only seen them in the US where at least they are not so stupidly expensive.
You two, get a room. Whoops too late 😳Could you get him some different ones Bunnyhop? I didn't like the last few pairs he's been wearing.
Threads like this are why I love killing time on STW when quiet at work...
My pants just appear in the drawer like magic, may have something to do with the sock fairy.
jaffejoffer - MemberThis is the kind of nonsense folk with Creative Zen MP3 players used to say about iPods.
I don't own an mp3 player, but if I did I certainly wouldn't choose one that forced me to use the absolute shower that is itunes when every other mp3 player I have used can have files dragged and dropped from any device.
On those grounds I will have to formally dismiss your opinion on undergarments.
My bikes appear all clean and fettled in good working order - must be the garage/shed fairy 🙂My pants just appear in the drawer like magic, may have something to do with the sock fairy.
