Just brought a nice bed frame on fleabay. Now need to find a nice mattress (king sized) to put on it.
I've not got a clue. My list currently consists of Warren Evans or John Lewis (Woking in Surrey if it matters).... any recommendations?
Carpet right do beds and mattresses at good prices
Are they comfy?
Go to a decent bed shop try them then buy one, you potentially spend a third of your life in bed so get a good one that suits you.
Hypnos make some very nice mattresses, see if there's a retailer near you
mines comfy i only paid £200, you can pay a lot more of course . . .
i steered clear of memory foam this time i get to hot on it . .
Have bought two from here: www.mattress-nextday.co.uk/
In fact most online places seem to be aliases of this site. Good service though and both mattresses were great.
EDIT: One was a Sealy Posturpedic around £500, the other was a generic cheapo (£200 ish) as that's all they had in the European King Size.
A Hypnia memory foam mattress from Amazon, have had mine about a year and it's very nice, I've got the twelve incher.
This is the most comfortable bed/matress ever, bit pricey mind
If it's a slatted bedstead base then I can recommend this mattress as they're designed for bedsteads -

We got one from mattressnextday.co.uk and it's been really comfy. Quite firm but very comfortable.
Why are mattress threads such spam-magnets?
