Not impressed with the SpecSavers range so having a look at webternet options. Any recommendations for genuine sites offering geniune products?

They've always been fine to deal with and repaired one set that broke after over a year, free of charge.

Buy your frames off eBay then take them to your local reputable opticians or send them away to Rupp & Hubrach in Germany.
