whatever you do, always have a look on topcashback and quidco for that little extra off... also have a look on outdoorsmagic for 2nd hand ones and they have a few threads on there for people finding good deals on websites. ukclimbing has a good classifieds too
Gooutdoors is ace for montane stuff. just look on google for the best price and then gooutdoors match it minus 10%
I got my montane RESOLUTE SMOCK which should hav been 165 for 120 off a shop on eBay but can't rember there exact name
