I see the point but not really like for like though is it? Cost of living etc.

Yep, a point made on the (very long) [url= http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/child-benefit-1 ]"Child Benefit" thread[/url] recently: even the poorest of the poor in the UK are "well off" by global standards.
