i used a wheelie bin to shift some dirt from my back garden to the front a few years ago.
worked better as I was shovelling from an elevated area on top of a wall, so just filled it up.
it was difficult to shift, so only filled 3/4 full, but you could tip it OK, roll it over to where I was dumping it and then just push it over, grab the wheel axle and lift to empty.
helps if you strap the lid open.
i very nearly killed it after a full day shovelling about 4m3 dirt.
