My middle name is Lewis, apparently that was going to be my first name but my parents changed their minds. I wouldn't have minded if they had stuck with it.
Ian - Happy with it. Used to get shortened to "Ee" when I was a kid which irritated me, although in retrospect I think I must have just liked getting irrationally irritated by things...
I'm another Jonathan, shortened to Jon (with no H which irrationally boils my piss at work when someone adds one. Don't you realise it looks different when you read it, surely that makes it stick in your mind! If someone does add an H, I just do the same back randomly in their name until they get the idea..... Dear Mhartin, Dear Mohnica, etc.)
To my Uni mates i am and always will be Shilts, due to my prowess between the sticks.
To my family, I'm Jonny.
Of all of them, Jonny's my favourite but for some reason i don't use it at work because it doesn't sound professional. can't work out why though.....
Like many, my middle name (Jane) was what I was known as by family and close friends.
Real name of Christine was what I got called at work, or rather Chris, which was confusing as I had a boyfriend also Chris many years ago.
Shame that it wasn't Christina (which I prefer).
Jane is the name I'm known by and changed to when I got married.

I dislike my name although used to it now. I was singled out for a slagging for it often. I would have given a lot for a monosyllabic name when I was a kid

I'm an Andrew.
Only 2 people call me Andy, my best mate and my Brother In Law. I don't mind them doing it but don't particularly like it when others do. No idea why. Maybe because I've known them for so long that it doesn't register.
If I was born without my gentleman's sausage I would have been called Alison.
If my sister, Alison, had been born with a gentleman's sausage she would have been called Stephen.
Kathryn, though for the first ten years of my life I was known as Katy. My mum thought the latter was lovely for a little girl but maybe I'd prefer Kathryn when grown up. (Despite the username I never have my name shortened, probably because I look too stern to have a nickname)
Never had a problem with it, though of course people don't always spell it correctly. Have had much more of an issue with my last name, which despite being only TWO letters, and despite me spelling it every single time someone asks me for it, some people still can't get right!
Carl , like it and wouldn't change it.
Middle name is Phillip and I don't mind that either.

Ann-Marie, the marie bit isnt a middle name.
Kinda used to it now, i wouldn't pick it, i like the sentiment behind it, name off each gran. The extended family already had a marie-anne.
I have a surname i have to spell out for everyone, so i end up spelling the lot. only 15 letters....
It's one of those names that allows some people in the west of scotland to make loads of assumptions.
Rarely get called Ann, get anne-marie a lot in emails, will answer to marie-ann because i know what you mean. My mates called me AM. My mum uses whatever name comes to mind, my brothers, my sis in laws......
Abroad i am Anna-Maria, that seems to be more understandable in my accent.
if i get to do the picking i'd like to choose a gaelic name, or least use the gaelic spelling.
Edward - I normally use Edd as Edward seems a little formal. Quite happy with it though.
Real name Johannes, but everyone knows me as Hanno.
Cause a lot of hassle when I receive cheques, other than that no probs.
Fraser - I have met only a few, but then I do live in the South 😀 Got teased as a kid but now the only problem is people always spell it incorrectly, Frazer, Frazier, Fraisier, Frasier etc. you get the idea.
Now quite happy being fairly unique.
Patrick, Paddy to most people and Pat to my family (I don't really like other people calling me that though as it makes me feel like an 8 year old or something).

My names Roger. Pretty open to micky taking and I got a bit at primary school ie Roger Rabbit, Roger Ramjet, Roger Redhat etc etc. Pretty sure I remember chasing some kid round the play ground as he shouted out Roger Rabbit ! Roger Rabbit ! Roger Rabbit !
Cant really remember anyone bothering about it at secondary school except the thick kid who kept calling me ROW-GER, which I suppose is how its spelt.
When I was little did nt really occur to me that you might not like your own name. I was called Roger and that was it.
Steven. Don't particularly like it but after 40 years I'm used to it. Most people call me Steve except close family who still call me Steven.
Could have been worse, my Dad wanted to call me by his name which is Gideon and now my middle name. And to top it off my surname is Dance, which added to my middle name I was the target for a lot of abuse at school.

It's a family name I have a sort of love/hate with it. It was awful at school but now I quite like it. Everyone calls me Em. Emsz/ Emszy is what gf calls me when she's being needy lol

I'm Alan. Never really had any problems with it, there's far too much mileage to be had out of my surname for anyone to particularly even notice my first name. It does seem to be quite easy for people to misspell though.

Much abused name on T.V. i.e Keith in "The Office" is a bit thick and fat, . . . the Spitting Image song etc, also compounded by Chegger's daft antics!!
I quite like it, never had much bother, . . . at school I was called Orville by everyone because of Keith Harris!! Played a school football match once and someone on the other team had been christened Orville too!
I delight in telling people it means Wood, . . followed by "and I've got it"!!!

emsz has the same name as my niece 😀 i dont think i've ever called her by her real name, same with my other nieces, they seem to enjoy having new names made up for them every time and giggle like little girls (suppose they are little girls)

Interesting fact - as a first name it's more usually spelled with a u instead of a w (yeah, you liked that didn't you).
Many notable Englishman with that name - helps to mark one out from the hoi pollio.
Real name is Michael. Called Michael or Mike at work. Parents, siblings etc. know me as Mick. Most others call me Bill which is an abbreviation of my middle name which I was tagged with at primary school as there were two Michael's with the same surname in the same class. My wife and her family know me as Bill too.

I'm an Andy. Andrew is my full name, which hardly anyone but my parents use (my Mum calling me Andy just sounds weird, but she has taken it up for some reason).
Perfectly happy with it, though I hate 'drew'. Ugh.
Oddly, until I got to sixth form I didn't know any other Andrew or Andy, now they're ****ing everywhere! 😡

Got a fair amount of georgy porgy in school, but never bothered me. I don't dislike it (I wouldn't change it), but I'm not madly in love with it either. Was quite a common name from primary to college as well, only now that I'm at uni do I barely know anyone else with the same name.

Known since I was born as Toby though. If my Dad had got his way, I'd be Boris. A relatively lucky escape I think.
Quite unusual, and combined with my surname, is pretty unique I think.
Hated it for years, and certainly wouldn't name any offspring anything as obvious. Quite nice now I'm a bit older though.

Never really given this any thought as I've always been called Woody but more recently I've been getting 'G' or Gray. It's still Graeme according to my Mum and at work.
I'm obviously not bothered what people call me.
