1. Geordie (I could listen to Jayne Middlemiss or Ruth from the Archers all day)
2. Limerick (the voice of Delores O'Riordain is entrancing)
3. Edinburgh
4. West Welsh (Carmarthenshire-ish)
Brum.
*blows SaxonRider a kiss*
I'm on your list honey. 😉
the Umlaut
Glaswegian followed by Liverpudlian.

Seriously, a colleauge is a errr, Wolve (?) and I could listen to him all day.

I fear your outlook is grave.
Is it an acute case then Cougar?
South African.
South Walian - there isn't any better.

Whatever area of Wales that Cerys matthews is from......
Scouse, though not very broad on women.
Strong Glaswegian is great (my old mans family), but again, not on women.
Don't mind the Salford accent.
Strong accents aren't nice on women whatsoever come to think of it.
Can't stand West Country or north west Wales. And no lover of strong Yorkshire accents.
Tryfan via any of the routes from the heather terrace ?
+1 for Ruth from the Archers.
Ulster - especially on a girl. It was a sad day when CRC went from phone to internet shopping 😆
Don't know where in Scotland they are based, but wherever the helpdesk for Yorkshire Bank/Clydesdale Bank are situated - lovely ladies on the phone.
Welsh or North East.
I swear I'm only on TalkTalk still because of the Irish lady at their call centre when i called to complain.
And the North East accent - but (pedant mode on); my family is from Newcastle, and according to my grandad if you aren't from North of the river then you aren't a proper geordie. And the proper geordie accent is too harsh on a woman - come about 20 miles south to Durham and it's a different quality, like geordie that's been coated in honey.
And Jane Birkin's french accent, but it might be the slightly breathless quality of it too, during Je t'aime (moi non plus) when she sings.
On women it has to be Southern States or Texas 😛
I have no idea how people in Birmingham, Dudley, Wolverhampton breed. Used to work with a gorgeous looking girl from Brum but NO the thought of that accent gibbering in the throes of passion (not with me obviously) would bring out Mr Floppy.
Seriously, a colleauge is a errr, Wolve (?) and I could listen to him all day.
People from Wolverhampton are known as Dingles (Awaits flaming).
I don't mind accents, anything apart from Meerkat Russian.
Zummerzet. Arrrrrrrrrrrr.
I love Russian and North East Yorkshire accent. Don't really dislike any apart from Cockney.

That would be Carmarthen then.
My cousin Stace has the lost amazing soft Scottish accent, it's dreamy
Geordie lass's 1st followed by Alabama lass's.
Yam Yam (AKA the Black Country). I like the Kiwi accent but only because it reminds me of my time there. Closer to home the accent around the Scottish Borders is pretty fine!
staines
Benjamin Zephaniah.
Authoratitive German
Worst has to be northern, particularly scouse or manc. A comedy Noddy Holder brummie can be tolarated
A good looking Female brunette Liverpudlian, could charm me anyday.
And Bajan.
Can't believe no one has said ****stani...
That and Carribean, specially when spoken by Rasta-Mouse. 8)
French ski instructor versus Pathe News
(then soft Edinburgh)
Eastern european. I once bought a russian stripper a drink on the condition that she order "Russian Vodka Mother****er" from the barman, who it turned out was also the manager of the establishment! 😳

That and Carribean...
How annoying - - thats like saying an "England" accent. You do realise all the Islands/the Carribean area is a multitude of different accents? Which one are you referring to?
Whatever the female is who answers the phone at Avon Tyrrell... *sigh*
(Italian, I think)
That would be Carmarthen then.
Are you sure about that?

The Carribean accents I have heard have been very similar, with Jamaican having the strongest 'twang' hence my reference to the one and only rasta-rat.
In contrast "England" "accents" in case you weren't aware are far more varied.
Back to the OP - +1 the German accent, especially when spoken by Hitler. (Prepares to be flamed). 8)
Most Scottish accents are my favourite, closely followed by North east.
Also quite like a well spoken English gent.
Cheryl Cole/Tweedy has turned me on to the Newcastle accent.

Agree with this, there's a (stewardess?) Geordie lady serving coffee on my train right now. I could, most definately by accent alone.
No offence meant, but in your opinion / experience maybe, they can be and are very different to the point one island finds it hard to understnad the other. Anyway sorry to bang on, don't know why I'm staunchly defending the Windies as I'm from Eastbourne originally, the land of no accent apparently 😀The Carribean accents I have heard have been very similar,

Funny that - she's put me right off it.
Seriously, I like all accents - depending on who's doing the talking. 🙂
Definitely Limerick, Edinburgh! 8)
Any accent except those from the East Midlands (where I'm from). I like any stron regional accent.
Kryton57 - MemberAnyway sorry to bang on
Forgiven on this occasion (typed in a qwerty accent). 🙂
As said above it always depends on the person speaking and the context, but a soft Irish (cliched I know) on a Lady is very comforting. 😳
French....just like Fabien's
Norn Irish in female.
A womans!
