Could be a life change, or something more mundane. Or maybe by making a change you've made a difference in the world?
I've swapped countries and continents a few times, but I'm not sure they could be classed as really significant changes. Same stuff, different places.
i changed tyres on my DH bike last week.
I changed my underwear last week.
I used to be a miserable git - now I'm happy :o)
I swapped continents, and by default countries to be with my then g.f. , now wife of 9 yrs.

I chucked in my job when I was 30, sold everything I owned and went walkabout for a couple of years. ruined my career and my pensions - but do I care - not a jot. It was great

What if you'd moved from Sinai to Cario ? Then you'd have moved from Asia to Africa with out moving continent.
Or Istanbul to Ankara, Europe to Asia ?

moved to reading, good career move, rubbish for everythign else, planning on moving somewhere with good cycling once the knee's all better (hopefully)
Banned radio 1 and packet sandwiches out of my life... radio 1 sucks and blows at the same time. same drivel peddled out day after day.

menothim - pension - you know the money you put away for your old age. 🙂 By taking a break in service I cannot get a full NHS pension. Where did I go? I rode a vintage motorcycle from here to moscow and then on to Knordkapp and back home with a number of detours and then went to boliva, chile and argentina ( without the motorbike)
