I'm after some xmas gift inspiration, what's the best thing you've currently got waiting to give to someone?

In the spirit of giving (ideas in return), my best thing currently is a calendar made up with various pics from the year for grandparents, they really enjoy seeing what myself/family has been getting up to, it's become a bit of a tradition that I make one every year.

I sent the in laws on the Orient express. Sadly no murders.

Jokes aside they loved it and didn't stop talking about for months.
This year they are going to see the jersey boys after I told them it was sold out.

i bought my BIL a leatherman wave for his 50th, first impression he gave me was "oh cheers"
after he had looked on the net to see how much they are, he seemed a lot more pleased.
probably sold it by now!

Got my Wife a ticket for Take That in concert next year at the O2.

She's been wanting to see them for years, keeps seeing stuff about their tour and is gutted that she didn't get any tickets. She may well wet herself with excitement when she gets the ticket!

I got my sister one too, so they can go together.

When I'm stumped I always head for notonthehighstreet.co.uk - at least whatever you get won't be carried/worn/sat on by every other Tom, Dick or Harry - I bought my wife a bloody lovely handmade handbag from there and she loves it - I've never known her take such care over something nor had so many questions about it!

Bought my 8-year old godson a proper archery beginners outfit - a little fibreglass bow, an end of arrows, quiver, bracer and tab.

Looking forward to teaching him to shoot - that bit is a present to myself!

Bought the girlfriend some rather nice things from Victoria's Secret. Hope the wife doesn't find out 😉

Bought MrsFla a set of hope brakes and new tyres for the first xmas after we got married

She wasnt that impressed, although luckily I was chatting to an ex-girlfriend a couple of weeks before xmas who made me go out and buy her something romantic, so a silver necklaus was included as well.

I've bought my mate at work some aeropress filters.

At least now he will stop stealing mine.

I hope somebody else will also buy him his own aeropress.
